Did you know that Polk City UMC exists because Hopkins Grove UMC planted us? 

For 175 years, Hopkins Grove UMC has been praying, serving, and sending people out, and one of the places they sent people was Polk City!

On September 27, Hopkins Grove UMC celebrates that long faithfulness, and we are invited to celebrate with them. Members of Polk City UMC will participate in the worship service as we give thanks together for the life and ministry of Hopkins Grove UMC.

Come be part of the celebration:

  • 2:00 PM Games, bounce house, music, and fellowship
  • 3:30 PM Worship with the Bishop and District Superintendent
  • 4:30 PM Group photo
  • 5:00 PM Food, live music, and Games

All are welcome. Bring your family and bring your gratitude as we give thanks to God for the people who planted the seed that has grown into Polk City UMC!
